There are about 100 absolute-must-have shows, but here are the best (I think). The best of the best are marked with a " ".
Download as much as you can
    Bye!!

    Excellent work there LikeASong

Unfortunatly i have the dial up, so im pretty selective with downloading these bootlegs, those you mention, are they great quality or just a great performnce concert, i'm looking for the best quality shows, perhaps 1 or 2 of each tour.

Obviously the Red Rocks Concert from the War tour is awesome, because it was ripped from a professional recording, are there any other concerts just as good a quality as that one?

    ZooTV Dublin is, and it's a must-have.

    Bye!!

  8. Well, it depends on if you mean historical importance or just fun.

Red Rocks is definitely one of the most important shows, maybe the most important ever because it earned U2 so much attention, and so many fans.

The Dublin 1989 gigs are wonderful, especially the first (December 26, 1989).

I'd also say that the first and last gigs of each tour are good bets. On the first, there's a sense of excitememnt and risk. On the last days of each tour, there's a celebratory vibe.

I'd say Tacoma April 21, 1992 was the ultimate Zoo TV gig, since it featured so many surprises. Radio City 1984 was traumatic but rivetting. For a fun festival gig, try the Longest Day show from summer 1985.

  9. Just wanted to add to the list of must have shows one from the Elevation Tour, Houston, 2001-04-02. It's a great audience recording plus the setlist is just awesome. Excellent performances all around and there's a little bit of everything, a mini Pop set with Gone and Discotheque/Staring At The Sun, plus two songs that they didn't play live very often, The Sweetest Thing and The Ground Beneath Her Feet. God I love this website!!!
  10. Thanks everyone posting their favorites. It's a great launching point for my collection. BTW even though the quality is only three-stars you should check out the 12-20-87 Sun Devil Stadium show. It has their only live performance of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)".
  11. you may have to upgrade java or something. Not really sure.

    The Rotterdam show is awesome!!
