HI everyone!

I just wanted to say how I love it when u2 songs are played unexpectedly in public places or just appear in films, they always sound superior when this happends. It just makes me want to stand on the nearest pool table and belt the song out.

I often have to put that song on when I get home after that, for example at the uni bar they just played walk on on the jukebox, which was great cos I never hear anyone requesting u2. However on the last st. Patricks day I was disapppointed. Cos where I was at the time, their was horse racing happening locally and there are a lot of irish people into that so I was surrounded by them. Anyway I requested a u2 song and they played beautiful day and was expecting people to at least go "U2!!! great!!" but no they didnt most people went and sat down.

I remeber also not so long ago that ultra violet appeared on a film which i didnt expect and that was great too.

Have there been any instances where one of their songs have been played that has made u want to go mad? or any films where they have appeared that u also wanted to go mad?

O yeh, went to this place the other night and they played the Macerena and instantly thought of you LikeASong, whether with or against it- I can't remeber.

I know this is probably a pointless post but had to say it.

That's all folks!

I think it's always great when you hear songs from U2 and you weren't expecting too.

Like this afternoon, Beautiful Day was requested on the radio - sun was shining, I was driving, - perfect! I expect to hear U2 when they have an album out but in the off-period it always comes as a nice surprise.

Yeah!! It's great when U2 comes public, I feel like I'm free.
The most of the time in my life I'm singin U2 for myself, or singing quietly, and when U2 becomes public, I can't help sing VERY loud. People look me as if i were from Jupiter, or even worst, as if I was a boy from the 80s...

By the way, thank youvery much for remembering me, though it was the Macarena... I hate it! ...
But you remembering me makes me feel someone!

Hi guys

It's really great when you're doing anything and a U2 song "appears" from nothing...You have the feelings that something good and right is finally happening as tui said. It's something like : "Good vibrations in the house".My brother likes U2 but he's always listening to the same brazilian songs because he says that I listening to U2 for him...but 2 days ago he was listening to I Will Follow!! WOW...that surprise me and I felt very happy!!
and yesterday MTV Brazil show a documentary about the 20 years of Joshua Tree and didn't expect something like that, because MTV always shows the same tv shows and clips...and I thougheah, that's my band...the best band!!

see you friends!!

Haha, you're right guys..When I'm in a pub or somethin' they sometimes play U2, mostly New Year's Day, Pride etc. And when the songs just starts I always sayto friends: 'Hey! U2!'. They sometimes don't appreciate it..

Well, here in Spain the frequency of U2 into the other music is 1/1.000, aproximately. So I have no many occasions to say "Hey, U2!"...

It absolutely makes you feel great, like no matter what, it's gonna be a beautiful day. I was reading the newspaper this morning when all the sudden I heard this guy on the radio say: but first U2. Turned up the volume and was so happy they played With or without you.
Sometimes when they play a U2-song on the radio or tv, I get a message from one of my friends saying 'MTV now' or 'studio Brussels now!!', love it when that happens!
