I think it's just seen as "PopMart-Material" and they don't use PopMart-Material anymore...
Like that guitar from Edge with all little mirrors... He doesn't use that now either...

Indeed those stuff is great! But it just doesn't fit in the shows the play right now. But if the guys get the idea to do a big tour again (which i still believe in), I'll hope they'll return!

Adam had more than one of the Auerswald "A. Clayton" Custom basses.

There was at lease one FRETTED and one FRETLESS. It was the FRETLESS that was on display in the 2003-2004 R&R HOF special exhibit.

As for the FRETTED "A. Clayton", I am not sure if it was lost in the flood or not. It is highly possible.

Another reason it might not be used as it was designed for POPMART and it is also VERY heavy. As for it only being used on POPMART material, I don't think that is 100% true. I'd have to consult my copy of POPMART Mexico City but I think he did play "I Will Follow" on the Auerswald during the POPMART shows.

Hey everybody!!
I was away on vacation in Ohio this past week!!
I must say, if any one is interested in seeing up close and personal Adam's lovely yellow Popmart Bass make a trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Museum in Cleaveland!!! I could not believe my eyes!! It was really unbelievable to be able to see it right there in front of me! I highly recomend going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum!!!
Other U2 items on display: one of Edge's ZooTV guitars, Bono's The Fly and McPhisto outfits with fly glasses, all four of the bands Dischoteque/Pop blue outfits all outfits complete with shoes, Bono's The Goal is Soul Green Guitar, and Bono's first acoustic guitar.
No pictures could be taken so I don't have any snapshots.
The Hall of Fame is awesome! It's amazing to see all the Rock and Roll memorobilia they have!! Check it out!!!

The Auerswald A. Clayton they have on display is the fretless version which Adam never used. So there is a chance he might pull out the fretted one he used.

Edge Clapton Strat is in the display. It's one of my favorites - painted with the snake and skeleton...

Bono's guitar is merely one of many but still one that he DID play. So it's good they have one on display.
