1. If U2 will resume the I+E tour as E+I, after this year, I think it's time and a great opportunity to drop some Joshua Tree staples. With Or Without You, Still Haven't Found, Bullet can all go.

Maybe its even time for Streets to go. This could all make perfect room for all the Experience songs and maybe some Innocence ones as well
  2. i just wish they would play more of the obscure songs.....like acrobat, please, crumbs etc......it would make it so much more interesting. I agree that some of the old songs need to be retired like One.
  3. Swap Exit in for Bullet and keep the others.
  4. For E&I the only JT staples I want them to drop are Bullet and ISHFWILF (particularly since it's reverted back to karaoke style again). Streets and WOWY are musts for me unless they were to play extreme rarities throughout the set which isn't going to happen or compliment SOE with the SOI songs they played on the I&E tour which again I don't think will happen. I also agree with above that Exit over Bullet would be a good swap.
  5. They should NEVER drop Streets, swap Exit for Bullet, WOWY at the very end before the final song. RTSS after Exit maybe? And sometimes they could play IGC and TTYW, but not as regular songs.
  6. Hard to say. I get bored with the War Horses, but it is what made them who they are. I still wish they could play two different shows on tour, but that is too much work for a band in a comfort zone they started getting into after the "failure" of Pop. But I can dream... Beautiful Day and Elevation seem to be even more of a letdown for me. Bono gets all hoarse at the start of BD and can't seem to get it together until the soaring vocal, so wish they would cut that one out.

I think your on to something that there's other war horses they could drop over Streets and WOWY. Elevation, beautiful day, pride, Sunday Bloody Sunday, I will Follow, vertigo, would all be far better songs to go for me than Streets or WOWY.

Dropping One, would be like dropping Livin On A Prayer....cant be done, casuals would get pissed
  9. Elevation , beautiful day, vertigo.
None of them are moving off set lists anytime this century
  10. They dropped it on the I&E tour, admittedly not every night.

Yeah, spot on. I did have a really nice emotion when they did Pride in Louisville...but even Vertigo has bored me, and it is such an awesome song, it seems like they don't play it with the same passion on that tour, even though Bono's voice was shot 99% of the tour.
