    Notes:
JEMS master recording. This is a brand new transfer of the master cassette done in July 2009 and is the first time a transfer has been circulated directly from the master tape with no dat or cdr generations in the lineage. This is an excellent sounding recording and a tight and energetic set from an up and coming U2 touring in support of their debut album Boy. Also of note this show is the second time they ever played I Fall Down live.

  2. You are right that our show page should be updated with this show.
Unfortunately, the one you are offering is the 2009 transfer that runs at an incorrect speed.

In August 2011 JEMS corrected this - see entry at u2torrents:
(I have hid most of the info file under "spoiler," but please note the different "Length" - 63:41 instead of 65:03)

    Update (August 2011):

This was one of the few early postings that had made its way out without being speed corrected. This newest posting here is corrected to run at the correct speed and should superceed all previous postings of this recording.

I am currently leeching this 2011 torrent and hopefully someone will seed it in the coming days so I can update the 1981-04-18 Detroit show page / audio tab
  3. A Day Without Me as a closer! That only happened in a handful of shows in early '81, I love it. While Joyce gets that corrected version, anyone interested should check out 1981-03-15 - Los Angeles, another nice example of ADWM closing (and a great sold out concert btw, also with a strange beggining, The Ocean not followed by 11O'cTT, etc).

@addemonsoon thanks for sharing anyway! Appreciated.
  4. I have updated the 1981-04-18 Detroit MI show page / audio tab with the JEMS 2011 update

    Fabulous addition
