    Comments on this show
U2 played its first concert in Japan since 1998 in Saitama in 2006, and what a return it would prove to be. This was a fantastic show with the live debut of Windows In The Skies and amazing performances of City Of Blinding Lights and Beautiful Day (with two great snippets). To make it even better we have some great audio recordings available for you. Any more reason to go back in time to 2006 and enjoy this amazing show?

We encourage you to listen to this show this month and write your own review, the more, the better. Enjoy!

  2. These Saitama shows are awesome! A must have if you haven't got them already. Saitama 3 is my favourite though. Ruby Tuesday in Bad.

  3. Currently re-uploading the IEM Matrix that exists of this show, noticed we had no links anymore
  4. What a series of shows these Saitama gigs were! This one may be my favorite with One Tree Hill closing the show (and Bono was surprised by the reception for this song).
If you see the setlist of these 3 shows, that's exactly what I want and expect for setlist variety at U2 shows. They showed that they are capable of mixing it up and keep us guessing what song will come next.
  5. One Tree Hill ... Window in the Skies . Oh to hear any of those songs live once (or more) would be my dream.
  6. One Tree Hill closing! One of the only 3 times that's ever happened.
  7. great show, great set, great stand, great leg, great tour.

these three shows might just be the best of the tour
  8. interesting that the exit music is streets of your town, a song from a little band from brisbane (the go betweens) and a song that u2 have only snippeted twice, at the same show in brisbane in 2006
  9. Looks like a wonderful time to revisit these Saitama shows. An interesting fact is that Vertigo Tour bootlegs were actually my entry point into the U2 fandom. A friend gave me a bunch of U2 material and Live From Chicago hooked my attention immediately. Searching for more U2 bootlegs was what eventually brought me to this site.
  10. Fantastic show!
