  1. I'm fairly certain it's not from the 3rd leg of the Elevation tour.
  2. Has anyone asked the nature of the 40 snippet? Like did it just fade out with 40 since it would have went into Streets on the elevation tour or did the song come to a complete finish?

    This is a good point, I'll start looking through shows that are logged on the Elevation Tour that include Bad, and zero snippets - maybe they weren't ever listened to once imported, and snippets never got tagged? Hard to believe, but possible...

    4/13 Vancouver
    4/28 Phoenix
    5/15 Chicago
    11/9 Salt Lake City

    All had snippets of 40 at the end of Bad, and all were high-quality ALD matrixes or SB recordings...no dice.

    -Elevation Tour (almost certainly, Ger believes it was about to segue into Streets when the song suddenly changed - unless there are instances of this on the 360 Tour, Bad being played right before Streets?)

    -Bad / Fool to Cry (snippet) / 40 (snippet)

    -Long intro of guitar, without any (or many) comments from Bono

    -Soundboard (or similar) quality

    -Ross mentioned the snippet of Fool to Cry was "strong"

    RULED OUT
    2001-04-13: Vancouver - Short intro - Per MG
    2001-04-28: Phoenix - Wrong snippet - Per MG
    2001-05-15: Chicago - Bad quality, short intro - Per MG
    2001-08-21: London - Intro not quite long enough per Ger
    2001-10-10: South Bend - "Molly Malone" snippet went unheard at the pub
    2001-11-09: Salt Lake City - Long intro, SB quality, but wrong snippet - per MG
    2009-07-21: Amsterdam - Snippets in wrong order
    2009-07-24: Dublin - Per Ger
    2009-07-27: Dublin - Per Ger
    2009-08-15: London - "Deffo not", per Ger


    POSSIBILITIES
    2001-10-31: Providence - Contains the right snippets, but quality does not match. Ger / Ross - willing to listen to an old source and see if it matches performance-wise? Maybe there's an FM broadcast done locally that we never knew of, somehow in circulation?

    2009-09-12: Chicago - Correct snippets, long-ish intro, but source doesn't match up well. Ger / Ross can you comment on whether this could be it?
