1. While the last fans in The Garden can still be heard singing "40" outside the arena it's time for me to thank some people and above all: all U2 fans for the first leg of the Innocence and Experience tour. This was a great run of 10 weeks with amazing shows.

First of all, I'd like to thank the U2start crew, who have been working around the clock (literally, sometimes) to provide you with the best possible show coverage and amazing content. Special thanks to Marta, Nicole, César, Tim, Matt & Sergio for providing show coverage on Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat & Instagram. It's amazing what you all have put into this leg. U2 fans can't thank you enough.

Then secondly, thank YOU all, thank all U2 fans. I can't possibly thank enough people here so I'm keeping this one generic: without fans there is no U2 and there is no U2start. It's amazing to see so many fans taking care of other fans and helping out, creating streams, bootlegs and you name it. Great!

This doesn't all mean we're going away. We'll probably go a bit more quiet in the coming days but then we are full speed to prepare for the second leg. Lots of development happening & planned for the site in the upcoming weeks, some meet-ups to be planned in Europe and of course lots of new content, coverage etc. Stay tuned!
  2. Thank you Remy for giving us all a place to come. I love this site and love the people that I was able to meet and chat with on a daily basis. 8 shows in 2 weeks. I'd do it all again tmrw. Amazing experience.
  3. many thanks to everybody from Remy to all others friends like Matt . And now a couple of days holidays and then preparing the travel for rehearsals and 2 concerts in Turin.
    Bye bye to YOU TOO
u2 until the end of the world
  4. Well done guys
  5. What a great experience this has been! Excited for leg 2!
  6. Thank you for giving us a great lif....... mmm oh wait, that rings a bell

This is an amazing experience, being able to follow every show live (EVERY - SHOW - LIVE) thanks to meerkaats, periscopes, mixlrs and twitter is something never seen before, and it's bringing us together more than anything else. So cheers everyone - here's to many more! :
  7. Thanks everyone! Following leg 1 was great fun and boy it's gone quick!

Great community here. I'll stick around.

  8. U2start is my personal bible! Thanks crew for all your work here!
  9. I would personally like to thank Tim (iTim) for the amazing amount of work he has put into this. He has streamed whole shows for the world using a complicated setup specially designed for this matter and he has been updating our social networks in real time for everyone. I believe he has covered more shows that all other crew members combined!! And if that wasnt enough, he has even designed some guidelines for other crew members to chip in. All of this, while being in a totally different time zone than the shows (extra merit)!
Awesome work Tim, cant thank you enough on behalf of the crew and U2start members. Hands down
