Performance

I was a U2 fan for years but this was my first chance to see them. Actually it was my first REAL concert. I was blown away by the stage. I spent half the show trying to keep up with all the flashing messages and other special effects. The band seemed to be on top of their game but then again I was so excited they could have totally sucked and I wouldn't have known.

The fans were into the show, but how couldn't you be.

Overall

On August 18, 1992 Larry Bird retired and Bono lead the crowd in chat of Larry, Larry, Larry. I still have the t-shirt that I bought at this show, it has become my lucky shirt and I wore it during the birth of both my daughters some 15 years later.
