Nothing much to say I guess, just the same as all the rest...
No, seriously, performance-wise, the only big issue is NYD. There were mistakes in other songs, like One, but nothing serious. The greatness really overcomes the mistakes. Many memorable performances. It's certainly one of the best shows in the 3rd leg, don't let the rankings scare you.
I've listened to the 3 sources here, and honestly, between the original soundboard and the whatever remaster, I don't hear any difference. In fact, with headphones, the original sounds a bit louder.
But at the end I have to go with the noiseless matrix. Up to Pride, the sound is almost 5 stars, really great with audience in the mix. Then in Desire and Ultraviolet, the distortion is really noticeable (I was using headphones). Still, compared head to head, the matrix is still better. Plus, it's the only one with Can't Help Falling In Love (although with a poor audience recording only).
The matrix source puts some (distant) audience to the concert, so you know they were there, cheering and clapping.
Up to UTEOTW, it was one of the best ZooTV concerts. One of the best Zoo Station and Fly I've heard. Even the mistakes in One forced Bono to give the crowd a pretty unique rendition. NYD has a lot of mistakes, we know, but hey, at least it's different from the other 1,000, 000 versions. ISHFWILF is actually ok with some audience and starting with Bad, the show is again super strong. Desire is also one of the best. You already know UV and WOWY are fantastic, but also check out LIB, the solo is different from the 2nd leg and it's pretty amazing.

Here's my version of the 1992 Washington DC show. It's a pretty nice listen to me, but it isn't the Holy Grail, unfortunately. The SBD was recorded too loud and the second half of the show suffers badly from distortion.
For this matrix, two SBD sources were used: the Dreamoutloud version aka 'Calling the White House", and the more complete ‘And Now a Word From Our Sponsors’. Both had their good and their bad, so I used parts from both.
The AUD (said to be Sony WM D3 > pc-62 by M.V.) was distant but it adds a pleasant live atmosphere. It wasn't mixed in very loud but unfortunately you'll notice some talking, screaming and clapping through the music at spots.
Last note: the sound was and is very compressed so if you listen with headphones, you'll be very tired at the end of the show. But apart from the flaws, I tried to get the best out of it, and it sounds pretty acceptable over any stereo set. Enjoy.

Comments (from Justin Cook's site):
This is an absolutely incredible remastered version of D.C. produced by Adam Grayer. Here are his comments:
"My friend and I spent countless hours with Steinberg Clean, Sound Forge and Cool Edit and have come up with the most amazing copy of the show - Barely any hiss - NO digital noise - just a clean show - It is like Night and Day with the original and our copy."
This bootleg really is phenomenal. Don't pass it up.
Well I haven't heard the original, so I can't really compare, but this is probably close to Achtung Adelaide in quality. The drums sound great, just amazing in "Streets." Sound quality is very steady, great mix. Not a broadcast by any means, but one of the better soundboards I've heard. Also, each track seems to have been recorded individually, so you can tell where they begin and end. There aren't clicks or gaps or anything like that, but it doesn't flow perfectly between tracks, just like Wembley Nights 3&4. There do seem to be a few edits in the show also, like the intermission intro, maybe a few other small things.
Of special note this was the only time "Bad" and "Sunday Bloody Sunday" were both played in one show. This being the early days of the OB Tour, it was probably just after this that they settled on doing one or the other.

"I always thought the job was to be as great as you could be."
did you know
According to an interview from 1982 the song 'October' is about the Bolsheviek revolution in Russia in 1917, that brought Communism to power. This theme is mixed with a personal theme, possibly Bono's mothers death.
