This is a great show. This second leg of the Zoo TV tour is probably the best moment of U2's career. The band is very confident - just look at the number of new songs they're playing every night - and Bono's voice is in (very) top form (apart from the last very few shows in June). In every single night of this leg, we can see a young and yet mature and provocative band at the top of their game. This show is no exception. Long setlist, great voice, the band is on fire. This is U2's moment of grace. Leg 3, though still absolutely great, was already one step down, in the opinion of the present reviewer.
This is a very solid, and listenable, 3 stars and a half; maybe even 3.75 stars. Bono's voice is clearly listenable, the sound is well balanced.
The crowd happily sings along. Not an Italian crowd, but still, they're not cold and distant either.
All highlights. The new material really stands out. Even Better Than the Real Thing, Mysterious Ways, One, and especially Until the End of The World stand out. With or Without You is magnificent, as nearly always in this tour.

"It's the last time I wasn't on fire, according to Bono. I was ice cold!"
- The Edge, on the Pop album
did you know
A local violinist, Steve Wickham, approached The Edge one morning at a bus stop and asked if U2 had any need for a violin on their next album (the War album). In the studio for only half a day, Wickham's electric violin became the final instrumental contribution to Sunday Bloody Sunday.
