Performance:
What an exciting night in Munich. The Olympiahalle is basically a bowl. You walk in at the top and look down. Bono was very much engaged with the crowd and happy to be in Munich. The Edge sounded as good as he ever has. There were quite a few song collages that really felt special - not what you heard on the record/tape/cd of the time.

Audience:
The audience was in good voice and very appreciative of the band's hard work. I was very excited to be at my first U2 show, half a world away from home, too.
 
Sound:
Wish there was just a little less singing from those around the taper, but hey - it was 1987.

Overall:
Didn't want the night to end. I have a poster that I bought as I walked out singing 40 - framed with my ticket. One of my most prized possessions to this day.
