We can hear the band very clearly and Bono is on top of the recording. Great sound for 1987. Recording: Audience microphone - 4 stars

Great show. This residency in Hartford gave fantastic shows and the band mixed the setlists a lot. Highlights: Bullet, Exit with a Ruby Don't Take Your Love To Town snippet, Bad, a very powerful Springhill Mining Disaster and Gloria. The only lowlight is C'Mon Everybody. It belongs to a whole different show.

"I don't see Jesus Christ as being in any part of religion. Religion to me is almost like when God leaves -- and then people devise a set of rules to fill the space."

'40' from the War album almost was never recorded. The band (minus Adam Clayton who had left the studio) had gone over their booked studio time, but convinced the studio manager to let them record '40'. It has closed many show since. The Edge plays both electric and bass guitar on the song.
