Performance notes: C'mon Everybody is covered for the first time in eleven months and it's a rough, energetic performance. At the end, Bono remarks that it's "another classic trashed by U2".

Performance

Amazing, spectacular performance. Can't find a single bad thing to say about it.

Sound

The first few songs are more of a 2.5, but it gradually gets easier to listen to. This is this show's only downfall- the sound really just isn't that great. It was very listenable by the end though- don't know if I just got used to it, or if the sound actually improved little bits throughout the way. I couldn't even hear The Edge's intro to "Where the Streets Have No Name", and barely heard the opening of "I Will Follow" over the boom of the crowd after Edge started playing it, but songs like "New Years Day" came across nice and clear.
Recording: "Unkown Analogue Generation" aka "Ever Peaceful" - 3.5 stars

Audience

Again, truly phenomenal. They were the most prominent part of this show, as the sound wasn't exactly top-notch. Loud, but never annoying.

Overall

Since the sound is such a crucial part of a bootleg, this one is only getting a 4 from me. An awesome JT show, but also not the best I've ever heard. Maybe I would throw it in my top 3, but even then only #3. That's alright though- listening to U2 shows becomes more and more about variety the more you do it, and "Trip Through Your Wires" being so much later in the setlist than I'm used to was a great change...and hey- sometimes it's even kinda cool to listen to a not-so-great-sounding bootleg.

Highlights:

-The Unforgettable Fire
-A Sort of Homecoming
-Exit
-In Gods Country
-Trip Through Your Wires
-Bad

Not a bad pick for Show of the Month, March 2010, guys!
