Amazing recording that comes straight from the analog master. It was taped directly off the air. Sound quality is superb,
and the band's set is also strong. This was the sixth and last show of the 1986 "A Conspiracy of Hope Tour" for Amnesty International.
Nona Hendrix, Little Steven, Ruben Blades and Lou Reed accompanied U2 onstage to do Sun City. The show was broadcast live on radio and TV.
This recording, part of this recording, or parts of this show are officially released by U2. Therefore we do not list download links but just list the recording for reference purposes only.
We couldn't find any high resolution photos for this show, do you have any?
"We thought: let's actually write songs. We wanted the record to be less vague, open-ended, atmospheric and impressionistic. To make it more straightforward, focused and concise."
