Performance

Hot dang! I am so excited to hear this boot. I was at this show; it was my first road trip. Unfortunately, it was also the night before I got my first pair of glasses - so the band was fuzzy. But they sounded sharp! The thing I remember best is that they played Wire, which hasn't been played on tour since. The Waterboys were a great opening band, with Karl Wallinger still in the group. My favorite cut of theirs was "Whole of the Moon." I'll come back and rate the show after hearing the recording, but it's ***** for great memories.

Sound

Acoustics in the Aragon Ballroom are atrocious for amplified rock.
