1983-02-26 - Dundee, Scotland - Caird Hall

setlist

Comments: First performances of Two Hearts Beat As One, Seconds, Party Girl, and 40, and the last performance of Fire. Only time Like A Song is played. Amusingly, after Party Girl, Bono states that it was the song's "first, and probably last" performance - it has gone on to become U2's most performed b-side, with almost 200 performances to its name.

Performance

The band seem to be really killing it at the start of their new tour. Unfortunately, the sound really lets that down.

Sound

Sadly, the sound is very mediocre. It isn't unlistenable but it just doesn't sound good.
Recording: "02/26/1983 - Dundee" - 3.5 stars

Audience

They were alright.

Overall

First night of the proper War Tour and the only full performance of Like a Song..., this song is worth getting for those two things alone. It's a shame the sound is pretty rubbish, because it seems like otherwise this was a really, really good show.

Highlights:
-Like a Song...
-I Will Follow/Christmas Is Coming
-Seconds
