Optreden

For me not the best gig I have ever seen. Good but not great. I did not expect a new greatest hit show, but 8 songs of the new album is maybe a bit overdone. I am not a diehard U2 fan but a regular visitor of 1-2 shows each tour. So for me some more hits should have been better. Besides that the show ending was kind of an anti climax. In my opinion the last song should be I Will Follow or something like that, so that you go home full of energy.

Publiek

We were in Germany, not in Spain or Italy where I also saw some shows. A big difference in participation of the audience. I hope Amsterdam will be better.

Algemeen

I still give this show 4 stars, because, for the first time ever, we put ourselves in the GA queue. 12 o'clock we got our number. To the city center for some beers and snitzel and 4 o'clock back. It was kind of chaotic but at the end it worked out fine. We never did it before, I am almost 2 meters long, but for my wife it was a great experience. Our spot was on Adam's side, in the most right corner, front row, just before the Red Zone with also a good view on the screen. (What a joke those Red Zone tickets, they pay several hundreds euro's and had a bad view, with a camera and some tall GA people like me right in front of them. They complained a lot to a hostes, but she could not help them). So a nice show, nice visit to Koln, the wheater was perfect and up we go to Amsterdam-2
