Performance:
The band was on top of their game, and the songs truly were brought to life. Larry and Adam were thunderous and drove the whole stadium in excitement. Edge's guitar shined through like a beacon of light. Bono was spectacular, and truly moved me during through the whole show.
Audience:
The audience was great, a fantastic, positive energy ran throughout the entire stadium. I felt at certain parts that the audience was stagnant, but at moments such as I Still Haven't Found... and With Or Without You we really shined.
Sound:
The sound of this bootleg is fairly crisp, one of the clearer bootlegs of the 360 tour.
Overall:
The opening night of the 2nd leg of the 360 Tour was electrifying and emotional. This being my first U2 show, I didn't fully comprehend what I was in for. The band was magnificent and sounded fresh, and Bono was on point for the entire show, save a few slip ups. It was a truly unforgettable show. This bootleg is merely a reflection of what the show was, but is still very clear.

First of all thanks for sharing. It's much appreciated.
However, the recording is very low and the drums seems to clip the mics whenever the music gets loud. Some of it almost sounds like static.
The vocals sound good.
Overall:
Good show for a tour opener, but I am hoping that a fuller, more clearly defined recording surfaces. Hats off to the taper for the effort and the quick turnaround, but I would advise people to hold off for a better recording unless they just need to have it right now.

Performance:
-Vocals were dead on. Edge's guitar sound was larger than life and enjoying it live was like being born. His guitar got out of tune right at the end but so what? Larry's drums pounded the stadium and Adam's bass guitar really stood out in several songs. I covered my ears to pick it out and it had a sick(sick is good) distortion to it.
- Unforgettable Fire descended on the crowd like the weight of the ocean. I yelled out every lyric as Bono made his way through the complex lines and the video screen grew until it almost touched the stage. Nice pick guys!
-Awesome night, Bono really poured his heart out...
-Acoustic Bono/Edge "Stuck In A Moment" was touching.
-The review above mentioned Bono choking up during the very end, I saw the same thing turned to my wife to see if she heard it to. Didn't notice it in the recording.
Enjoy!
Audience:
-Crowd was great. Made several new friends waiting for the band to start. I could really feel the energy and the pride of the Chicago locals (I'm from Ohio) that U2 choose Soldier Field to open the NA tour.
-Chicago missed an opportunity to chant "how long" after the 40 snippet which was a downer for me personally.
Sound:
MP3 / I was just happy to have a recording of the night!
No dropouts.
Waiting for the Lossless to DL now.
Overall:
My wife and I had a blast! Our first concert but "life long" fans make be bias to this bootleg but U2 did not disappoint!
Thank You U2Start.com for this awesome media tool.
I passed along the web site to any one I spoke with at the concert!

They were having a blast on the stage, but not too adventurous as it was the opening night.
Audience:
Awesome, no intrusive yelling, but you can hear the ambiance of the whole stadium
Sound:
I'm giving this a solid 5. It needs to be listened to on some high-quality headphones. I boost the bass and treble a little bit and most of all.... It sounds like you're there!
Overall:
A must listen to.... plus the fact I was there and it brings back the memory of being there helps a little. Sounds as good as the Milan show.

Great
Audience:
Good, what should I say?
Sound:
Like "SethVincent" wrote. Download the bootleg from Taper "prof_peabody". If you reduce the bass, it's the best audience-recording of the 360° Tour.
Overall:
Best Audience-Bootleg from this Tour since now. Much better than the "wb"-recording from Berlin! Almost like soundboard!

Performance:
The boys sounded strong -- tight arrangements and terrific interaction with the crowd, which has to be a tough thing to accomplish simply due to the size of the 360 stage and playing to a full house in an outdoor football arena.
Audience:
Chicago and U2 is always a great combination. The crowd was pumped before the show and continued to be just as excited throughout the entire performance. Also, kudos to Snow Patrol who opened the evening up with a solid set. Chicago was ready to party this Saturday night and both Snow Patrol and U2 met the challenge.
Sound:
A terrific recording -- especially since Soldier Field is an open air venue. Prof Peabody is the version I downloaded and I'm very happy with it.
Overall:
I'm a longtime fan -- first time I saw U2 was back in '84 and I've attended every tour since ... IMO, this bootleg is a teriffic momento of a fun evening my wife and I spent with U2 and approximately 70,000 friends. However, in truth, I came away a little disappointed -- IMO, I've been to better U2 shows than this one. Of all the U2 tours I've been to, this one is my least favorite. I still had a great time, but ...

Performance:
Great show.First night in North America. We are not used to being second fiddle to U2s tours.I cant remember the last time the band didnt open a tour here, but thats ok.The band obviously fine tuned themselves well in Europe. This show is almost flawless.Unknow Caller has a mishap towards the end of Edges solo.Besides that ,I didnt here anything else out of place.Magnificent sounds great. As do all the new songs live. I like One followed by Bad. Pride was played, and so far this is the only appearance of the old classic on the N.American leg, as of this date.Far Far Away (Irish Boy) sounds beautiful. This intro is a great lead in to Beautiful Day.Nice acoustic of Stuck In A Moment ,with great backing vocals from Edge.
Audience:
Its Chicago,sound fired up.
Sound:
I went with Prof_Peabody.It was rated a 4,but has been upgraded correctly as a 4.5.This is a very solid audience recording.I just played it alongside E.Rutherford NJ 09.24.09,and London 08.15.09.London is the loudest, but has too much bass. This show is a perfect blend of vocals and the bands intruments.I think this show edges out (no pun intended) NJ from the 24th by a hair. Both shows are great sounding, but this one is perfect.
Overall:
Great fun show.Reminds me of night 2 in NJ.I like all the Chicago shout outs. The fans at this show were blessed to hear Bad after One to end the main set.Elevation ( a song Iam so sick of) goes over well.ISHFWILF has a great heartfelt intro by Bono. They sound rested and fresh. After a nearly 3 week layoff Bonos voice is in fine form. The band and audience feed off each other. That was the case here.A great opening of the North American leg.

Performance:
They sounded great, but I'm a fan. The first few songs had minimal sound problems and there seemed to be opening night jitters. NB- where the download lists "irish boy" it's actually a snippet of "Far, Far Away" by Chicago's own Wilco.
Audience:
Great Chicago for the opening, but I was a little disapointed by participation on "Unknown Caller." It's new for much of the audience, but I think that song requires GREAT audience participation to make it work.
Sound:
I've been picking up bootlegs on tape since I was a kid and I'm really happy with how this one is sounding. It sounds like you're standing GA at a U2 show.
Overall:
U2 has played better shows--including better shows I've been to. But, I can't say I've had more fun at a U2 show (In memory, I might be combining both Chicago nights). 5 of my 6 siblings went to these shows with me and they opened in my City. These recordings are very good, if not great, representations of having been to the shows.

Performance:
Theres an interview with The Edge where he states that while Chicago I was a good show, the band was getting their feet planted in the ground that night, and Chicago II was the real deal. I don't care what even Edge says- night one was amazing too. I've watched a video boot of it, but not until tonight did I download U2Freak's AMAZING matrix and listen to the show proper. This performance is just spectacular. Chicago II would get a 5, but this one is easily a 4.5. Absolutely marvelous show.
Audience:
A bit harder to hear in the matrix, but given the sources, they still come through about as much as the average listener would want them. They are never intrusive.
Sound:
One of- if not THE- best sounding bootleg of the 360 Tour.
Overall:
Never once was I checking to see how much longer was left in the show. Never once did the audio make me cringe. Never once did I get nervous for one of the guys when they were screwing anything up (because they never really did).
Edge's delay got a little off in the beginning of "Bad", a problem that Dallas seemed to have worked on on the spot, and the result is actually a pretty cool live-fix of the situation; you hear it get fixed AS it gets fixed. Also, the mere fact that "Bad" was played that night is amazing enough to completely ignore the subtle flaw. With a snippet of 40, too? Stellar.
"Where the Streets Have No Name" was easily the highlight of this bootleg, as it is in many shows...but everything fell perfectly into place that night for that song.
