Performance:
Personally, I think this has got to be one of the great ZooTV shows. The band went out to wow an expecting Parisian crowd on the opening night of the European leg of one of the greatest tours in rock'n'roll history ever embarked on, and didn't they just? I would go on about how amazing everything is, but I'd be writing until tomorrow. Every song is performed to something bordering perfection, to the point that I can't point to a single major flaw. Some of my own personal highlights:
- Edge's playing. In my opinion, one of the best performances he's EVER done - he's simply on fire. On that note;
-> BTBS - perhaps one of his best ever solos. He simply tears into one of the greatest bits of guitar playing I've ever heard. The show is worth downloading for this alone.
- Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses - a ZooTV performance with a solo? Too flippin' right. As the world's biggest advocate of this song in any form (not to mention that it's criminally underplayed), to find a ZooTV rendition WITH a solo has allowed me to die happy!
- With Or Without You - my favourite performance. Ever. The only thing that could have POSSIBLY made this any better would have been an inclusion of Shine Like Stars. Other than that, I'm blown away every time I hear this. Bono getting completely lost in the music, a terrific piece of improvisation by him on guitar (even if he does seem to forget that notes need to be played in tune), Love Will Tear Us Apart snippetted in spectacular fashion - I could go on.
The only thing that I would say is a shame about this show is the lack of Ultra Violet in the encore. To think that the band were on fire, and yet didn't play one of the greatest songs ever written...such as it is, I reckon it's good enough to make do with!
Publikum:
Awesome. Astonishing. They seemed to love every second of the band's performance, and rightly so. Definitely one of the best audiences I've ever had the honour of listening to on a bootleg - just listen to them during WGRYWH or WOWY to see what I mean.
Sound:
It does seem to fluctuate slightly, but not throughout the show nor to the extent that it hampers the boot where audible enjoyment is concerned. Bar that, I would have thrown a 5-star rating this way forward.
Gesamteindruck:
I don't know whether there's much else to add. Near brilliant sound, terrific energy from both the band and performance, one of Edge's best ever shows, a simply breathtaking experience. For me, it's a must-have show, both as part of the ZooTV phenomenon and as a spectacular example of U2 at their very best.

Performance:
I was expecting great things when I listens to this boot, buoyed by Harry's opinions. And, mostly, they were delivered. Very good performance. Especially Bullet, Wild Horses (best I've heard), Still Havent Found and the encore.
BUT
It's not great. Their are errors (wrong note in WOWY grates) and Bono's voice is sub ZooTV standard. He talks parts of Bad and Pride and bottles the high notes. Given the high standards on this tour, I took half a star for that.
And a whole star for an incomplete encore. Where are Desire and Ultraviolet?!?! Why??!!
It sounds like the band have come back on after Love Is Blindness (true?) but the bootleg fades out.
Publikum:
Excellent. Vocal in all the right ways, great vibe.
Sound:
Occasionally washy but generally excellent.
Gesamteindruck:
Audience and sound are fantastic. Better performances are available. And there is an (admittedly excellent) horribly truncated encore. Unforgivable.
A worthy listen and some songs will remain with me (Bullet, Horses and LIB). But not as a whole gig. Other European arena legs are superior (Milan, Stockholm).

Performance:
I wasn't really impressed by this performance. It might have something to do with the high expectations I got.
This gig starts with a good version of Zoo Station, but The Fly, EBTTRT and MW are horrible. Edge sounds truly drunk there.
One is okay, as is Unchained Melody. The highlight of the show are UTEOTW and WGRYWH, with the great sequence.
The acoustic set is okay, but not very exciting. Satellite Of Love is just weak.
Bad - All I Want Is You - BTBS are just standard, no real must-hears. RTSS and Streets are beautiful, the second highlight of this show. Pride, ISHFWILF and WOWY aren't exciting, again just the normal standards. Love Is Blindness is always cool, great ender of of course.
I wasn't really impressed, but there were some great songs. Unfortunately also a few less exciting songs...
Publikum:
Perfect, the crowd is totally going for it. Listen to One, Horses and BTBS.
Sound:
Good sound, great audience recording.
Gesamteindruck:
It's just an 'okay'. The performance is not exciting enough to be a seen as a classic. A few songs are brilliant, a lot are just regular versions and some are terrible. If you were there I'm sure you had a great evening, cause the audience sounds awesome on this boot.
And the sound is okay.
Lowlights are The Fly - EBTTRT - MW. Usually one of the highlights of the show, now the definite lowlight. And it's very hard to make me dislike The Fly and MW...

Performance:
I enjoyed this performance from the band at a very strong stage of their mammoth ZooTV tour. It doesn't really stand out for me as a truly memorable one - there's no extraordinary renditions of any songs but I felt every song was technically good. I have to take one whole point off for the setlist. Where the hell was Desire and Ultraviolet?? And I Still Haven't Found, as I have stated previously elsewhere, has no place at the bottom of the main set.
Notwithstanding, the lad really hit the songs very proficiently, from Zoo Station to Love Is Blindness, there's not a dud performance anywhere. I overly scrutinise early Zoo gigs though for Wild Horses, because I've never heard a version where they've truly nailed the song. The climax is the key with the very last "Don't you look back..." delivered in a full burst like the studio version but Bono doesn't even attempt it.
Publikum:
Audience were on their game this night. You can hear them quite audibly joining in some classics such as Bad, Running, With or Without You as well as the newer ones Mysterious Ways, One etc.
Sound:
A very solid 4 rating. Very little to complain about. A very good audience recording.
Gesamteindruck:
Highlights for me were:
Bad/All I Want Is You - probably the best ZooTV version I've heard.
Running To Stand Still - up there among the best versions.
With or Without You - really liked the extended outro for a nice change.
Notable mention: The Fly
Lowlights
What were they thinking not playing Desire or Ultraviolet? Were they unwell?
I like the song but get I Still Haven't Found out of there and push it up a bit.
