Performance:
Here is the best All along the Watchtower EVER!!!, it sounds perfect in any note and Bono has a special sensual vibe...
There is also a special guitar solo by Edge on Desire/So you want to be a R&R star, you can barely recognise him 'cause he indulges in some unusual virtuosities Amazing!!
There are a few pearls, like an extremely intense All I want is You, Slow Dancing, People Get Ready with someone from the audience who finally plays guitar with the band!, a snippet of Norwegian wood at the end of BAD and a wonderful version of Exodus at the end of I still haven't found. Love Rescue Me is amazing as well.
Audience:
People sing along and show their love all the time
Sound:
This part of the bootleg isn't reviewed, only rated.
Overall:
LOW: In God's Country is missing, while it figures in the tracklist
HIGH: The best All along the watchtower EVER!! An unusual guitar solo by Edge on Desire, don't miss it, it's too curious And Bono at the top of his sex appeal in many songs (All along, Sexual healing, believe me girls...)
One of the best U2 concerts of all times, in my opinion, hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Performance:
'The last of the rockstars' Bono sings in Kite. Well, for me, U2's old rock spirit died this very night. The following Zoo TV tour was awesome, but Lovetown wasn't a show, it was pure rock'n roll. At its best..
Listen to All I Want Is You, All Along the Watchtower, Desire, Bad etc. Desire is the ebst version ever, same goes for Bad. This is U2 at the end of an awesome decade and at the very start of a refreshing new one. Listen to Bono's voice, a mix of TUF and Zoo TV. My left hand for a ticket to history, just to be there.
Audience:
The Dutch crowd loved it, U@ coming back to Holland after some gigs were postponed. U2 ended the eighties abroad and couldn't do it at a better place, besides Ireland itself.
Sound:
Not the best, but good enough to have regular hair raising moments.
Overall:
One of the best, for sure. Listen to the magnification of Bad, the almost metal-like version of Desire, the sweetness of All I Want Is You, the rock of 40...this is Lovetown, this is rock, this is U2...

Performance:
It was the final show of the Love Town tour and the band were ON FIRE.
Audience:
Way into the show and having a great time. U2 ALWAYS play great in Rotterdam, I know, I've seen them play there on Zooropa. And the Rotterdam fans are great fun and love them some U2!
Sound:
Fantastic. One of the great from the Love Town tour and of all bootlegs. Definitely one for everyone's collections.
Overall:
I've seen video of this show and it's pretty humourous. During "Bullet..." when Bono puts the spotlight on Edge, crew members hold flashlights on Adam and Larry. Bono goes for a run around the stadium track. And the snake on the Rene' Castro painted backdrop has a 'joint' painted in it's mouth.
Great show. Great band. And a band that was about ready to change yet again and bring us Achtung Baby.

This boot is worth it just for the performances of Desire and When Love Comes To Town alone. Best. Ever.

Performance:
LoveTown at its very best. U2 continued to be in top shape after the famous Dublin gigs. After the Amsterdam show where Bono lost his voice the band decided to close this insane tour in Holland. And that's one of the best choices they ever made. On this last night the band they gave the crowd one of the most energetic perfomances of the decade. This show contains the very best versions of Desire and 40 ever. Also Bad, All I Want Is You (yes, these two played at one night), I Will Follow, Out Of Control are all brilliant.
Audience:
Singing their very hearts out. Screaming, clapping. It gives it all a fantastic atmosphere.
Sound:
Very good for the time. Great great audience recording, mirrors the atmopshere.
Overall:
U2 couldn't close the 80's better than on this very night. It's right up there with de Dublin gigs. A must-have for LoveTown-addicts (like me). How I wish to have been there.

Performance:
The New year's eve concert in Dublin should have been the end of the tour but because of the cancelled Amsterdam concerts U2 came back to Holland for four nights in Rotterdam. These were their last gigs with BB King and the band were clearly enjoying themselves.
When the show started with Bullet we all knew this was going to be special concert. They played Slow Dancing for only the second time ever, delivered a spectacular version of Bad and at the end they clearly loved playing 11 o' clock tick tock and Out of control.
It's the most relaxed I've seen them play.
Audience:
The audience were loving every minute of the concert. Between BB King and the main concert the whole audience sang along to the Beatles and Stones songs that were played.
As Bono says at the start of Pride: "This is the only concert where the audience is noisier than the band. And that's the way we like it!".
Sound:
It's an audience recording so it's not perfect. The drums sound hollow with lots of echo and there's some low missing.
Having said that, this is as good as audience recordings get.
Overall:
I was one of the 7000 or so lucky people to be at this concert. I'd been to Dortmund a few weeks before and heard the new year's eve concert on radio but this was so much better!
This concert had everything: great set list, BB King, the band having fun, a guy from the audience playing on stage...
You can hear it in the performance on this bootleg; they're in great form and the audience are loving it.

I don't mean to skimp out- because this was my 100th bootleg listened to. I just feel that justice has been well done with every other bootleg review already posted. The stars should be indication enough- this is an amazing, amazing show.
