A great peformance with lots of energy, just like the whole Lovetown Tour. A simple rock'n'roll show at its best. Certainly a bootleg you should have in your collection.

From what i hear the band were really enjoying themselves here. They were also very active with the audience with Bono peaking to them. Outstanding performance. No flaws at all.

Audience:
The audience were very active and were having a whale of a time. They sang along with songs and they called back for 2 encores. You can hear them chant at the end of "Pride" U2!!!!!!! and start to clap getting faster by the second until U2 come back to do "Party Girl". Also at the end of "Love Rescue Me" They continued to chant U2 and clap faster every second until they eventually started singing "How long to sing this song" and U2 came back and played "40". U2 were lucky to have such a great crowd.

Sound:
This has the best sound ever. Out of all the bootlegs i have downloaded off u2 start this is the best sounding radio broadcast i have downloaded with no interuptions and a radio presenter saying "we'll be right back after this" and no filled gaps like on Sydney 1993. Best sounding radio broadcast ever

Quite simply - the definitive U2 bootleg of the 1980's. A truly magnificent performance. The perfect setting - the final night of a triumphant homecoming, 10,000 mad Irish people, and a New Year's Party like no other.

One of the last concerts of Lovetown and one of the first times that Bono realized they needed a radical change----> Achtung Baby!

Performance:
This show is absolutely brilliant! Great band energy! I don't think I've ever heard such a tight execution of the rhythm section as this one. Adam and Larry are impeccable throughout! I believe Bono's voice is at the peak of his power and range while his crowd interactions and anecdotes really get the everyone going. Edge is flawless! I loved the bleed through of his Hendrix at Woodstock inspired Star Spangled Banner into Bullet. All along the Watchtower is hair raising.

Audience:
What can I say...they are completely into it. Watching an epic performance by an epic band has them on their feet! Listen to the frenzy in the opening moments of the show. It's quite the hometown welcome! You've got to love the crowd spontaneously breaking into '40' before the band even starts the song.

Sound:
This is the best sounding boot I've ever heard by U2 or any band. The radio broadcast struck a perfect balance of band and audience. It's as close as you can feel to being at the original performance.

Overall:
This show is why I listen to live music. There are so many highlights, but I thought Running to Stand Still, Streets, and Bad were fabulous. Loved all the snippets: Time they are a changin', Exodus, All I want. If I had to critique anything it would be the setlist. I personally would have preferred a bit more Joshua Tree/Unforgettable Fire to Rattle & Hum numbers. Having said that U2 and BB nail When Love Comes to Town.

Absolutely amazing performance by the whole band, there isn't a low point at all, the crowd is there, the band is there, the set list is nigh perfect. 11/10 for this gig. A must. In the bands top two or three shows, ever.
