Performance

The band was enthusiastic and put on a great show. Definitely more confident and energetic than in Vancouver. Unlike Jimbobob's review I did not see an old and tired Bono in Seattle. I guess it's a matter of perspective - if you go expecting a 23 year old Bono / U2 you wont see that. But they were on form, totally engaged and Bono took way more chances with his voice at this show. To continue to raise the bar and put on shows like this after 35 years is why I love this band so much.

Audience

The audience was very into the show - admittedly not jumping up and down for each song but super engaged and singing along. Taking a look at the whole stadium of 50,000+ people singing standing and waving was quite a sight. Bono lapped it up as always.

Overall

I cant give it 5 because who knows what's next. But an awesome show and an awesome day. Took a friend with me who'd never been to a U2 show, we lined up since 1pm and got a spot 3 in from main stage right in front of Bono. She is now a convert to the church of U2. We were blown away by this show, it worked so well, and the addition of IWF : "Take the F***ing roof off!!" was just such a bonus and awesome way to end the show. This was my 13th U2 show and ranks in the top 3. Too many highlights to list but special mention to Bad, and seeing Exit live...
