Comments: Satellite Of Love covered by U2 for the first time since 10 December 1993, in tribute to Lou Reed. Like on ZooTV, it featured some recorded vocals from Reed and footage of him on the big screens. Mother And Child Reunion was performed with a guest appearance by Paul Simon. Before Elevation, Bono brought on stage the woman who called 911 after his bicycle accident in November 2014 and one of the firefighters who responded. The printed setlist gave I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For as the last song but One was performed instead. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

Bono's voice was in great shape and The Edge played so many instruments flawlessly, the guitar, piano and keyboards. The whole band was on fire.

Diverse audience from different ages, cultures and countries - all with the same passion
From the second Bono and the band took the stage they were on fire. It was as if they were playing their home town and for some of the band members it is/was. So many highlights: fan Mark alias U2BROTHR being pulled up on the e-stage, interviews with the fire fighters from Engine 44 The Fighting Irish and the lady who dialed 911 when Bono had his bike accident last year. Since she corrected Bono and insulted New York(ers) she was booed at by the crowd and Bono did not know what was happening for a second..and it was on Meerkat for everyone to see and hear.
Later on in the show fan Mason was pulled up at the main stage and walked a little round with Bono. Also Paul Simon joined the band on the stage for the duet Mother and Child. At the end the crowd sang ONE and Bono joined in later, this got me all choked up and was quite an emotional thing. All in all a memorable concert and evening.

One of the better u2 mixlr-broadcasts.
Perhaps best to be compared with an AM broadcast,
recorded from a club rather than the MSG.
But there is also clarity and presence. And although
the audience can pretty loud in-between songs, screamers
and upfront talkers are rare.
NYC#7 was in many ways a "fun" show, starting early with
Bono's "The Beatles are Irish" and his joke about the
Englishman in New York.
This is also the show with the "Boo-lady" from Virginia
and U2brother's 3rd appearance on stage - a record, at least
within one leg or even one tour! Bono, with respect to u2 bro's
36 u2 shows: "Thanks man...36 shows...[...] we owe you!"
Further noteworthy specials are, of course, Satellite Of Love
feat. Lou Reed and Paul Simon joining the band for Mother And
THANKS to all the mixlr's and periscope-broadcasters for having
made the American leg of the i+e' tour so globally accessible!
SPECIAL THANKS to u2start for hosting this "bootleg"...

- Adam Clayton
did you know
The album Songs of Innocence used to start with 'This Is Where You Can Reach Me,' which was always supposed to be the first song. U2 then changed this to Raised by Wolves, but ultimately decided to "put the songs first", just like on Joshua Tree.
