Performance:
They did quiet good for a first show but there are several mistakes with the lyrics and chords in a bunch of song. They als have to improve the way of playing songs like COBL.
Audience:
Very good audience
Sound:
Good 4-star recording of this definately special show
Overall:
But all in all a good first show of a tour that has to develop

Performance:
Very exciting evening in Barcelona - don't let that influence your ears. The band is still finding their way through much of the set and their new stage - during "One" communication completely breaks down and it is a M-E-S-S. However, the recording of this opening night is an important document of the excitement, the setlist, and some special moments. Right now, worth a listen. In 6 months, I predict only for the die-hards(Like me.)
Audience:
The audience is in the back of the mix, the clapping sounds like rain falling at times... The best part of the audience is during tunes like Unknown Caller, Moment of Surrender, and No Line, as the sing along brought the stadium to life.
Sound:
Not great. Not terrible. Listenable, enjoyable - but the instruments don't reach out and grab you, the mix is fairly even, but there are audible sounds from the taper and nearby audience that at times overtake the band. take this for what it's worth: a decent audience recording of what was Opening Night of U2=360
Overall:
Highlights: Breathe - No LIne, a good version of I still Haven't Found, The Unforgettable Fire, Unknown Caller.
Lowlights: Too much sing along from Bono during Moment of Surrender - just let it happen dude - don't force it. One is a disaster. A train wreck.

Performance:
Well, they've never been known as getting out of the gate quickly, let's just say that. But it's not like they've never done it before either.
Audience:
Sound into it big time.
Sound:
Pretty good for an MP3.
Overall:
Solid show for overall for the first. It will only get better and you never want to peak too fast. Setlist is rather predictable. Nice screw up on One. Like an old slipper I'd say.

Performance:
great performance generally, although One (of all songs!) completely breaks down part way through and Bono has to give the band a talking to and start over.
apart from that, though, it's all good. TUF makes a passionate and welcomed return and IALW and Angel Of Harlem are well performed, with the latter containing tributes to the late, great Michael Jackson.
overall, not bad.
Audience:
they were really into it, what with the show opening the tour and whatnot. They shout along during Ultraviolet and Moment Of Surrender, and give the show a sort of charm.
pretty good.
Sound:
the sound of the bootleg is really good to say it's an audience recording and how fast it surfaced. The audience overpower the band every now and then, and the odd overly loud clap or scream gets in the way, but I'd say it's as good as you're gonna get audience-wise.
Overall:
the first night of a groundbreaking and eagerly awaited tour.
contains a decent amount of NLOTH songs, the obligatory hits (eg. One, Pride, Beautiful Day) and the eagerly anticipated return of gems such as The Unforgettable Fire, Ultraviolet and MLK, all of which are played rather well indeed.
overall, I'd definately recommend it.

Performance:
"Train comin'..."
And the 360 revolution begins! Based on the bootleg, very good first performance highlighted by some key numbers.
Though I love Breathe dearly, it didn't do it for me as an opener. Still my favorite song on the album, and I can't fault this performance, but as an opener for me it lacks the power and sheer electric shock of a NLOTH or Magnificent to really get the crowd into it from the get-go. And from the way the band continued on to play NLOTH, Magnificent, and Boots, I can definitely see a rotation of all three eventually evolving into the openers. Extra (bongo?) drums in Boots sound cool.
Beautiful Day's slightly revamped intro is nice. Performances of Still Haven't Found, Angel of Harlem, and In a Little While were good, though I'm in the camp that wishes for the Mofo's, Gones, and LNOEs that were built to be chanted as anthems in stadiums, rather than toned-down, sing-a-long arena rockers.
The hook-up to the ISS was completely surprising. I wonder if the band back in '93 ever dreamed they could evolve from reaching Sarajevo to reaching space itself. Unknown Caller seems to have a safe placement in the setlist directly following, and the extra verse-chants at the end was a great crowd-communicator.
Then comes the meat of the show for me. The Unforgettable Fire. Watching the video of the screen expanded reflecting the lights...amazing. I can tell on the bootleg that the sound filled the stadium completely. Segue into COBL...goosebumps all over. Follow with a Vertigo that sounds different, though I can't quite place why, and I'm into it.
Crazy Tonight...awesome. This might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation, and I'm on the love it side. They turned a cute little pop song into a tribal, funky, Discotheque-esque stadium thumper. My personal favorite on the night. Hoping they keep that arrangement for the North American leg.
Streets is worth mentioning as another highlight. Red background and organ intro - fantastic.
Bono's vocals on the second verse of UV were my favorite from him on the night.
Finally, I think Moment of Surrender will be a great closer when it finds its groove after some practice or re-arrangement.
Listening to the bootleg again, aside from the performances, I'm also impressed by and looking forward to hearing in person some of the song's unique segues and intros. BD, Boots, the segue between Walk On and Streets (aside from Dt speech)...should bring on the goosebumps in person.
Audience:
A bit in the background at parts of the recording, but from what I can hear they sound ecstatic to be the first audience of the tour. Great to hear them chant along on the "oh-ohs" per Bono's instruction and fill in lyrics for B-man where needed.
Sound:
This part is only rated, not commented on.
Overall:
Very good first performance. Not a home run, but certainly not PopMart opening-esque. It's clear that they're still figuring out what works with the new songs, and I'm sure that will only improve as the tour progresses.
Highlights:
All NLOTH tracks except MOS
TUF
Crazy Tonight
Bring on the rest of the tour!

Sound:
average, the bass is overpowering at times and the guitar is really underwhelming. ive found the overallsound to come in and go out at times
Overall:
i know we are all jumping on the first bootleg of the tour, but this is really only worth it for the novelty. i've seen comparisons to pomart l.v., and its nowhere near that bad. the boys are well rehearsed, but not quite comfy yet

Performance:
Good performance there was always going to be a few little mistakes but its great to hear the old classics brought back like mlk and ultraviolet and tuf!!!
Audience:
brilliant spanish crowd ready for the brand new tour to begin!!! very eager and vocal throughout
Sound:
It is a really great sound, not 100% perfect but very enjoyable to listen to and very audiable, i love it and i'm very impressed!
Overall:
Highlights: TUF Unknown Caller, Streets, In a Little While, Ultraviolet (although not the best performance by a long way, that includes The Unforgettable Fire too.
One was suprisingly enjoyable for me as they messed up a few times but managed to get it back and they had the confidence and drive to finish it.
Lowlights: I have to say bonos voice was good but some parts of Ultraviolet souded a bit lazy, he sounded a little stretched sometimes..
Oh well great concert, one that will go down in u2 history and I can't wait for Sheffield, 20th of August!!!!
Thank you so much for uploading!!!

For an opening concert very good. Bono has a great voice. One was a desaster and with or without zou wasn't that great! But magnificient, Unforgettable fire and Ultra violet were genial!
Audience:
Great spanish crowd - new songs they also sang and I still have not found was amazing.
Sound:
Bass is strong, audience very good to hear - some songs Bono's voice was very good to hear.
Overall:
It is really fun to hear it - great recording! I was live there, and I'm very happy to have this recording as a remember. Thanks!

Performance:
Still the show of the tour by my reckoning. Fantastic enthusiasm and gusto from the boys thats clear to hear on the bootleg. Unknown Caller was ropey, One was a pleasant shambles but everything else was bloody great. Best Breathe, NLOTH, Crazy and Ultraviolet to date. Top job
Audience:
90 thousand of us, all noisy, all bouncy. Great bunch of people. Was great to have been one of them.
Sound:
edomedo source. Absolutely fantastic audience recording. Clear as day and packing some great punch (especially during Crazy Tonight). Some clappers nearby at times but they never get intrusive. Recording only matched by Berlin and Dublin 3
Overall:
great performance, opening night nerves and energh, huge and up for it crowd and all brilliantly captured on tape by edomondo. A great one to have

Performance:
The tour opens with a BANG.The band obviously are fired up .The usual opening night nerves (Vegas 97) dont turn up .Any nerves they use to turn out a great show.Breathe into No Line sound great.Bono is so excited singing No Line that he seems out of breath. Not from being 49,but from digging deep down.Hes giving it his all here.Magnificent ,Angel and In A Little While are done very, very well.I like the Man In The Mirror snippet at the end of Angel.Bono should have kept that going longer.I dont care for the Dont Stop snippet. We have TUF back after 20 years. This is the best, most energetic version from this tour so far.Chatting to the crew from the space station is a gas.Reminds me of the ZooTV classic tour.Great show.
Audience:
The fans here and in Italy are the best.Im from NYC and I admit this.Hands down.I just wish we had an actual release of this show so we could really hear how great these fans are.
Sound:
I have downloaded and deleted quite a few versions of this gig.I just upgraded using the Edomondo version. It is hands down the best version of this show. The sound is very good. You can enjoy a great show from the boys.
Overall:
The band are on here, the fans are great.I would have given this show a 5,but One is a mess. The crowd are so loud that they messed up Bono here. They were singing the chrous too soon.Bono lost his place. Its actually funny. The fans are so loud they messed up the band!!!.Amazing.They make up for it with a GREAT version of Ultra Violet.WOW!!!Another classic that the band havent played since 1993.This show is worth your time.Great show.Cheers.

Overall:
Very good opening show !! You must have this bootleg. During One Bono get lost , so they must stop and start again.
New songs: There are 7 new songs , they were played so well , especially No line on the horizon , Magnificent and Moment of surrender
Other songs: Beatiful day is great. I still havent found is played like the joshua tree version , without the long intro with Bono talking. In aliitle while is a nice surprise. The Unforgettable fire is excellent. Vertigo is played in a very strong way. Welcome back Ultraviolet !!!
Some song were Ok: Angel of Harlem ( specially when snippets M. Jackson s songs) City of Blinding lights, MLK, Where the streets and Walk on.
Some songs i m tired to hear and i think they are a liitle boring to play: Sunday Bloody sunday, Pride, One and With or without you.
I propose some songs that they can play instead of this:Original of the species, Miracle drug, Sometimes you can make it, Kite, Mofo, Discoteque ,Gone,Last night on earth, Zooropa , The fly, Who s gonna ride in your wild horses,God part II, Exit, One tree hill, a sort of Homecoming ,etc

Performance:
A great follow through with the new material, bar Edge's solo in "Unknown Caller", which he was still exploring. "Pride" is tired and uninspired, and "One" is a complete and utter clusterfuck of a disaster. It rivals the PopMart opening night's "Staring at the Sun" for the biggest embarassment onstage, in my opinion. Bono stopping the band entirely, calling The Edge out in front of thousands of fans as he continues to screw around on the guitar, and counting everyone back into a verse he's already sang. A mess.
Other than that baffling thing to listen to (which is still cool, to have a historically bad screw up on tape ), the show is really great and magical, often times, with this being the debut of the biggest rock spectacle of 2009-2010
Audience:
Could they possibly be more excited to be witnessing the birth of 360°? Answer: no.
Sound:
Great, great, great matrix. A perfect listening experience.
Overall:
In all, a really magical show. Another reviewer put it perfectly- for the present time, this is a great gig to visit and remember where our current tour got its' roots, there in Barcelona. And opening nights are always shows to remember; birthplaces of years of us following our favorite band. But in a few years? This show won't be as spectacular than plenty of others on the tour.
Highlights:
-Breathe (for no other reason than they are the first notes of a brand new tour, sounds fresh and gives Live U2 life again!)
-No Line on the Horizon
-Get On Your Boots (let me in the sound was awesome!)
-TUF thru Vertigo was awesome, I loved "All of this could be yours, in three hundred and sixty degrees."
