Comments: During One, Bono brings a group of fans onstage holding national flags and other banners. U2 leave the stage after Bad and then spontaneously return to play two more songs. Bono completely mangles the lyrics of Fast Cars. Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

A truly inspired show in Boston. Band was in a great mood, funny and relaxed. Bono made a lot of jokes and the tired speeches of the tour even felt sincere. Really powerful start with COBL, Vertigo (I miss those versions) and Elevation. The band made sure to show the special connection with Boston. Beautiful Day was great with the snippets we love. The "Edge is from the future" speech was followed by OOTS instead of Miracle Drug. I like the latter, but I love the former, so it was a nice change in the setlist. Streets blew the roof off the building, really something else.
One of the main highlights is One. The outro lasted forever, with Bono bringing people on stage with flags. I think it lasted more than 8 minutes!
The encore was very special, with Bad/40 and just when you think it's over, the band returns for 2 more songs: ABOY (live is much better than studio) and a messy but fun Fast Cars. Weird way to close a show, but it shows the relaxed vibe of the entire show.
Check this and the next show in Boston for 2 of the best Vertigo bootlegs of the 3rd leg.

"The only thing that bothers me about Adam Clayton is he seems to buy better gifts than I do. He bought Ali a snowflake pendant that she hardly ever takes off despite all my attempts to ply her with things that shine."
