Performance

Definitely and without a question one of U2's best shows ever. Bono's voice sounds marvellous and displays a very warm while still slightly raspy tone that really suits him and makes every song pop a bit more. Added to this is a superbly tight band and a well crafted setlist (although the omission of 'Mysterious Ways' on the DVD is a bit strange to me and still having 'Pride (In the Name of Love)' close the main set seems like a boring choice).

I love how the Elevation Tour stage looks and having Slane Castle in the background only adds to that warm and simple feeling this tour leaves you with. The changed arrangements of certain songs are great and I love how U2 always changed up older songs while keeping them around, both pleasing fans and creating something new to enjoy instead of just playing the same song for years and years and maybe even decades like other bands and artists do.

Sound

As mentioned earlier, I watched the official release so the sound was absolutely fantastic of course.
Recording: "Bittersweet Eternity" aka "Turn Each Song Into A Prayer" - 3 stars

Audience

Absolutely fantastic audience, not much else to say here...

Overall

One of the few shows that absolutely deserve all five stars in all categories! Instead of listing all my highlights, I'll just say that every single song would deserve to be mentioned in this list. The only exception for me personally would be 'Pride'. Like I said, I just don't think it's the most interesting U2 song although I do understand how cool it must be to hear live, singing along and going crazy to!
