Comments:
"This excellent recording is a mix of a very good audience tape by f.w.
and a before rarely circulated IEM recording of that night. The sound
quality is excellent, but has also some weak points caused by the
typical IEM clicking. A lot of it has been removed or reduced with a
slight lost of quality. This is for example notable during the beginning
of WTSHNN and WOWY.
But still, without clicking it might be more enjoyable than with it.
And without questioning it is very enjoyable recording to listen to.
It is perhaps one of the best recordings from the Elevation tour.
This recording is close to the quality of Birdman's ALD/AUD Mix from
the night before and the famous 'Cleveland Tea Party' recording.
You can clearly hear Bono's voice and Larry's drumming. Unfortunately
Edge's guitar is sometimes a little bit hard to hear. Crowd noise is
almost not present or at least in no way disturbing. It only comes
in at the right time.
The packaging is black/white which might sound a bit chaste.
This is unusual but makes it somehow special. The discs come in a
standard double disc jewel case. Overall very nice and noble packaging.
The concert itself meaning U2's performance is great but not outstanding.
Still, if you like the Elevation tour, you might consider getting this one."

Performance

The band is very into this show.They sound great and..actually they mixed up the setlist here.I was shocked to see this.I love the Zoo TV type setlist.For some reason they usually dont mix things up,but they did here and its a plus.Sweetest Thing,ISHFWILF..acoustic!.Bono introduces the song saying this is a b side.Great version.Very loose show by the band.Kite is great as always.

Sound

This a great sounding boot.4 2/3,a hair under 5 star.Im impressed with it.Early on,you can clearly hear a female fan talking and getting excited..but she calms down and goes away..Kite sounds great.Bonos acoustic sounds as if hes playing inside my living room..its a great sounding show..

Audience

Chicago fans are very good.Some of the bands best shows in the USA are here and also NYC and Boston.

Overall

The show/setlist are great.The band dont mix the setlists up enough.I wish this show was released..the band are having so much fun here..see Bloody Sunday ,Bono actually laughs a few times during the song.....yes..BONO.....Even Better,One and The Fly (early in the set)..Kite,NY of course...Sweetest Thing sounds fantastic.A rare treat..ISHFWILF Acoustic,are you shitting me??!!Fantastic.....great show.One of the BEST gigs from the tour.
