Surely a show that's worth a listening.
Some songs were still looking for their final shape (I Will Follow, Last Night On Earth, Please and its transition into Streets, Discothèque) but the early versions of Mofo, Staring At The Sun and Bullet The Blue Sky are probably better than the ones from the second leg.
It would be 4.5 if there weren't some annoying noises in some songs. Recording: Audience microphone - 4 stars
This part is only rated, not commented on
Highlights: Mofo (is Larry or a drum machine?), Gone, Pride (although it was played earlier, it sounded good), If God Will Send His Angels/Staring At The Sun (great combo), Bullet The Blue Sky (the best from this tour).
Lowlight: Mysterious Ways.

"When I look at it from stage at the U2 audience, it's like every night there's something going off there and that gives me a lot of hope."
