Comments: This show is infamous as the only U2 concert to be missed by a member of the band. Adam Clayton was so severely hung over that he could not take the stage, and the show could not be postponed as it was a necessary rehearsal for the videotaping of the next night's concert (which, as well as being recorded for official video release, was also to be broadcast live). Adam's bass technician, Stuart Morgan, filled in on the bass, and Bono informed the crowd that Adam was "sick". Setlist and comment provided by U2gigs.com.

"I think Pop is a great record. I was very proud of it by the end of the tour. We finally figured it out by the time we made the DVD. It was an amazing show that I'm really proud of."

Bono wrote the song 'Out of Control' on his 18th birthday. It is about a feeling of having no control. Nothing changes now that your eighteen and never does. Feeling the pain from his mothers death and having no control over that or anything else.
