---------------------------------------------

Per Pimm:

"The set is totally changed with 11 O'Clock Tick Tock and I Will Follow opening the show so the audience have an opportunity to release their pent-up excitement before the new songs are introduced. During The Unforgettable Fire the audience have a hard time restraining their enthusiasm and seem relieved when golden oldies like Two Hearts Beat as One and Sunday Bloody Sunday are played, hollering along as loud as hell."

---------------------------------------------

I do not know the originator of this recording, but as Justin describes his as "Bono's vocals are a bit distant and sound somewhat hollow", I would not be surprised if this is similar to his. There is one difference, though, as this version I received in trade has the 4th of July and 11 O'Clock as one track, and I did not separate them.

Interestingly, Justin believes "Wire" to have been played between UF and Surrender, but I do not see it referenced in Pimm's text, or at the setlist archive.

I assume this will be a "need" for many of my good friends here at U2T, since there is no cover art...but I am, as always, hopeful that one of our usual skilled colleagues (Lars, tynecastle, u2music) can make some for us.

I don't want to get overly sentimental, but I do want to take this opportunity to especially express my gratitude to so many people whom I have "met" here, who share their music and video generously, are great individuals, and many of whom have become truly good friends -- U2PBMU2, U2kristall, CTU2fan, MDuchek, panouf, MyPetWookie, gatomaluco, dema75, jasonengel, danafletch, chatts99, achtungpop, kittycran, oliverbayerl, boyacrobat, Trevor, drewropa, mauxworld, miguelca, JEMSHQ, kevdogg, RickU2, datfly, seanbry, chrisedge, yauckt, kennerado, sammy69, (where are you Michael?), propaganda...and of course Spun2U for making all of this possible. My deepest and sincerest apologies to anyone I left out...which includes the many tapers who rose above the "it's mine" mentality and made the great efforts to tape, and then had the graciousness to share.

cdr (obtained in trade, unknown taper/equipment/lineage) > EAC to wav > FLAC Frontend 1.7.1. to FLAC Level 6

U2
05 December 2000
New York, Irving Plaza

This is the Irving Plaza 2cam mix with PRE-FM sound and mixed in the short transition from Mysterious Ways to One
which was missing on the orginal 2cam release "just another irish boy band".

NTSC
LPCM 1536 kb/s

This one has the BIKE menu.

01. Beautiful Day
02. Elevation
03. Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of
04. I Remember You
05. New york
06. I Will Follow
07. Desire
08. The Ground Beneath Her Feet
09. Mysterious Ways
10. One
11. All I Want Is You
12. Bad
13. 11 O'clock Tick Tock
14. Won't Get Fooled Again

ZBYCH Comments:

This was done by myself back in early november 2004, shortly after the highly anticipated release of Just Another Irish Band.
I was disappointed with the sound, and lack of that beautiful segue of Sexual Healing into One, so I basicly mixed the sound from PreFM
and the video from 2cam and that short segment taken from 1cam version.
All done using Adobe Premiere 6.5 and Tmpeg Authoring 1.5

one of the MUST HAVE shows!

This is dedicated to the memory of Kim Calder "Kaycee" . And of course to my friend Nuno . Among the best persons I ever met in this sometimes strange U2 fan world ....

I've added the 4th unreleased camera shared on September 2012 by Nunomoreira to my old 3 cam mix ( nothing has changed on the old 3 cam mix, same fades etc ... )
I've switched the audio source with the most complete one shared recently, so almost no audience noise anymore .
The 4th camera helped to improve songs from " Zoo Station" to " Tryin to throw". The last 3 tracks of this unreleased camera were infact from another camera already used on my 3 cam mix from master . So nothing changed after "Tryin to throw" .

Electric Burma has been a special concert in celebration of Aung San Suu Kyi. It was performed in Dublin at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre - previously called the Grand Canal Theatre.

She was in Dublin that day, and Bono was with her and performed that night as part of the celebrations. Edge's mother had unfortunately passed away a few days earlier, so he was replaced in the guitar by Damien Rice who performed close to Bono on stage three songs:

- Walk On

- One

- I Shall Be Released

These are highlights from the night (including the 3 songs and the Bono's speech).
