Wat is U2start? |
|
U2start is an U2 fansite, one of the better ones actually, you can find more about us on this page.
|
|
Is U2start free? |
|
Off course, U2start is and always will remain free (at least for you ;-)), we don't expect anything of you. That's what U2 and what U2 fans are all about in our opinion.
Maybe we will start some premium user service in the future with some extra cool options to cover the many costs of running this website,
but all there is now will remain free.

|
Has U2start any relationship with U2? |
|
No, U2start is not affiliated with U2, their management company, their record label or any related bodies. The only official U2 website with a real connection
with the band is U2.com.

Why is some content not every minute up to date? |
|
Well, U2start is a busy site, that's why we work a lot with caching (to not reload/refresh all of our content every visit).
Some heavy queries are only ran every 10 or 60 minutes to make the pages load really fast(er) for you.
As a result of that you might notice that for instance, the list with forum top posters, is not always up to date with the real values.
It is possible that the list will let you know that some user has 2340 posts but that the user actually has already 2345 posts. Those kind of
statistics and some lists with latest videos/bootlegs/etc. are updated every 10 to 60 minutes, depending on how important the values are and
how often they change.

How can I add my own native language to U2start? |
|
First of all, very kind of you to consider adding your own language to U2start. As you probably already know, U2start can be viewed in many languages.
U2 fans are people all over the world, speaking all kinds of languages. To make U2start the best U2 website we also want to be the most accessible website.
If you think you are able to translate U2start in your own native language (or any other language you know good enough), please contact Remy (remy at u2start.com).
The translation is very easy and will take you a couple of hours, we will off course support you with the translation. Thanks!
