Występ

This is a fantastic performance overall and certainly ranks among the band's finest live outings. The only weak spots are 'I Will Follow' as Bono sings the same verse twice and sounds very loose in timing and lyrics in other spots as well as well as 'With or Without You' where Bono (of course it's him again) forgets lyrics and sounds generally confused. That is made up by the fact that Bono sounds absolutely monstrous in every other song, both in his raspy but superb belting and sweet falsetto that simply sounds marvellous tonight. The overall mood is also fantastic and the band are in absolutely top shape, no mistakes and some awesome riffing by Edge on some songs. The perfect package!

Special shoutout to one of the GOAT versions of 'New Year's Day' and George Harrison!

Since this is an outdoor show with AUD it's a bit unfair to rate the audience since outdoor recordings always make the atmosphere sound a bit flat but from what I can pick up the Yorkshire people are absolutely on their feet and cheering everywhere they can. Their fantastic participation gets more noticeable during songs such as 'Pride (In the Name of Love)' and 'Singing in the Rain' as they take over entirely. During the first encore break, they even start singing '40' on their own which is phenomenal.
